Our stay at Pechanga RV Resort was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome and top-notch facilities that made our visit truly memorable.
The resort’s location is perfect, nestled within the beautiful surroundings of Temecula Valley. It’s an ideal spot for those looking to combine relaxation with adventure. The well-manicured grounds and spacious sites offer a serene environment, providing a sense of privacy and tranquility.
The amenities at Pechanga RV Resort are outstanding. The full hookups, clean and modern restrooms, and convenient laundry facilities made our stay incredibly comfortable. We especially enjoyed the resort-style pool area, complete with a hot tub and lounge chairs, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
Our recent stay at Marina Dunes RV & Resort was absolutely wonderful! Nestled along the beautiful California coastline, this resort offers a perfect blend of luxury, convenience, and natural beauty that made our visit truly memorable.
The location is good and bad: situated just steps away from the pristine dunes and sandy beaches of Marina State Beach. We loved being able to take leisurely strolls along the shore, watch stunning sunsets, and listen to the soothing sound of the waves crashing.
The bad news is that it's located right next to the highway... and we mean RIGHT NEXT TO THE HIGHWAY. The noise was not pleasant.
The resort itself is impeccably maintained, with spacious and level RV sites that provide full hookups. We appreciated the privacy and tranquility each site offered, surrounded by well-manicured landscaping. The resort’s layout ensures a peaceful and relaxing environment, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the coastal ambiance.
Our stay at Tahoe Valley Campground in South Lake Tahoe was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the picturesque setting to the superb facilities, this campground truly has it all.
The location is unbeatable, nestled in the heart of South Lake Tahoe with easy access to the lake, hiking trails, and the vibrant town. The beautiful tall pines and natural surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for our camping adventure. We loved waking up to the fresh mountain air, the sound of birds chirping..... and snow.
The campground offers a variety of spacious sites, accommodating everything from tents to large RVs. We found our site to be level, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary hookups. The shaded spots were a blessing during the warmer parts of the day, providing a cool and comfortable environment.
Our stay at the Medford/Gold Hill KOA was truly exceptional! This campground offers a perfect combination of natural beauty, excellent amenities, and friendly service, making it an ideal destination for a relaxing getaway.
The location is fantastic, nestled in the scenic Rogue Valley with easy access to the stunning Rogue River. Whether you're interested in fishing, hiking, or simply enjoying the great outdoors, this KOA is perfectly situated to offer a variety of activities. The peaceful, wooded setting provided a serene backdrop for our stay, and we loved waking up to the sounds of nature each morning.
The campground itself is well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. The RV sites are spacious, level, and equipped with full hookups, making our stay very comfortable. We appreciated the shaded spots and the privacy provided by the lush greenery surrounding the sites.
The amenities at Medford/Gold Hill KOA are top-notch. The clean and modern restrooms and showers, well-stocked camp store, and convenient laundry facilities made our stay easy and enjoyable.
Our stay at Olde Stone RV Village in McMinnville, Oregon, was absolutely delightful! As full-time RV travelers, we’ve stayed at numerous parks across the country, but Olde Stone RV Village truly stands out for several reasons.
Firstly, the location is fantastic. Being right next door to the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum was a major highlight.
The RV park itself is immaculate. The sites are spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully landscaped, offering both full hookups and excellent Wi-Fi. We appreciated the level, paved sites which made setup a breeze. The facilities are top-notch, with clean restrooms, showers, and a well-equipped laundry room. The park's layout provides a nice balance of privacy and community, with plenty of green space and walking paths.
Another major perk is the close proximity to the renowned wineries of the Willamette Valley.
Our experience at Thousand Trails Mt. Hood Village RV Park near Portland, Oregon, was nothing short of spectacular! As full-time RV travelers, we’ve visited countless parks, and this one has quickly become one of our favorites.
The location of the park is perfect for exploring the stunning natural beauty of the area. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting Multnomah Falls, just a short drive away.
The park itself is well-maintained and offers a variety of amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The sites are spacious, with full hookups and good Wi-Fi.
Island View RV Park in Port Angeles, WA, was a mixed bag for us. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and even threw in free laundry usage, which was a nice perk. The location worked out well for what we wanted to do in the area, so no complaints there.
However, the views were a bit disappointing unless you were lucky enough to snag one of the front-row spots. We weren’t, so the view from our site was less than inspiring. Most of the spaces are occupied by full-timers, which gave the park a bit of a “permanent resident” vibe.
All in all, it was a decent place to stay, but unless you can secure one of those front-row spots, you might be left wanting more from the “Island View” name.
Thousand Trails RV Park in Fall City, WA, was a pleasant surprise during our quick stopover. We only stayed for one night, as we were just passing through to visit a friend in Seattle, but we were really impressed with what we saw.
The park is beautifully wooded, offering a peaceful, nature-filled environment that made us wish we could have stayed longer. Even though our visit was short, the location was ideal for us—close enough to Seattle to make our visit easy, but far enough out to enjoy some tranquility in the trees.
The facilities were clean, and the park had a well-maintained feel to it. We didn’t get to explore all it had to offer since we were just there for the night, but based on our brief stay, we’d definitely consider coming back for a longer visit. If you’re looking for a serene spot near Seattle, this park is a great option!
Thousand Trails Paradise RV Park in Silver Creek, WA, was okay for our needs, but it had its pros and cons. The park itself had plenty of amenities—there’s a pool, a lake, and other nice features that would be great for a longer stay.
However, the spots were pretty tight and on a noticeable slope, which made setting up a bit of a challenge. If you have a larger rig, it might be tricky to get comfortable.
That said, the location was the big draw for us, and it didn’t disappoint. Being close to Mt. Rainier was exactly what we were looking for, so it worked out well for our plans. All in all, it’s not a bad spot if you’re focused on the location and can overlook some of the quirks of the sites.
Columbia Sun RV Resort in Kennewick, WA, is hands down the best RV park we’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we pulled in, we were blown away by how beautiful and well-maintained the entire place is. The cleanliness of the park was top-notch, making us feel right at home and super comfortable.
The amenities? They’ve thought of everything. Whether you’re looking to relax by the pool, get some work done with reliable Wi-Fi, or just enjoy a quiet evening in a beautifully landscaped setting, this park has it all. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making sure guests have everything they could possibly want or need.
And the location couldn’t have been better for us. It was perfect for exploring the area, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area. Columbia Sun RV Resort sets the bar high for RV parks!
Riverside RV Park in Boise, ID, was just okay for our stay. The sites are pretty tight, and ours didn’t have full hookups, which was a bit of a letdown. However, we did request the location, and we got a spot backing up to the greenbelt and bike path, which was definitely a plus. It was nice to have easy access to the outdoors, even if the site itself was a bit cramped.
As for amenities, there’s not much to speak of—just a shower house and laundry facilities. If you’re looking for a park with lots of extras, this isn’t the place. But for us, it served its purpose. We were in town to visit family and friends, not to hang out at the park, so it worked out fine in that regard.
All in all, Riverside RV Park met our needs, but don’t expect anything fancy. It’s a decent spot if you’re mainly looking for a place to park while you explore Boise or visit with loved ones.
Sunny Gulch Campsite in Stanley, ID, was a great find for us. The campground was well-maintained and clean, which made our stay really comfortable. We were impressed by the size of the sites—plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the space without feeling cramped.
The location was perfect for us, just a stone’s throw away from Redfish Lake, which was the main reason we were in the area. We loved being so close to the lake, and the beautiful surroundings made it an ideal spot to relax and take in the natural beauty of the region.
Overall, Sunny Gulch offered everything we needed for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. If you’re looking to explore the Redfish Lake area and want a clean, spacious campsite, this place is a solid choice. We’d definitely stay here again!
Elk Bend RV Park in Salmon, ID, was a great spot for our stay. The campground was clean and well-kept, which made it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. The sites were generously sized, giving us plenty of space to set up and relax without feeling crowded.
One of the best things about this park was its location—it’s just around the corner from the entrance to Gold Bug Hot Springs. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to be so close to one of our favorite hikes. Being able to hit the trail early and soak in the hot springs without a long drive was a huge plus for us.
Overall, Elk Bend RV Park provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. If you’re planning to explore the Gold Bug Hot Springs or just want a peaceful place to camp in the Salmon area, this park is definitely worth considering. We had a great experience and would happily stay here again!
The Three Forks KOA in Three Forks, MT, was a pleasant surprise for us during our stay. The park itself is really nice, with big spaces that gave us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our time there. The layout is well thought out, with enough trees to provide shade and a nice atmosphere, but not so many that it feels crowded or blocks the open sky.
The amenities were also a big plus—everything we needed was available, and it all felt well-maintained and cared for. Whether you’re looking to take a dip in the pool, use the laundry facilities, or just enjoy the peaceful setting, this KOA has you covered.
Overall, we had a great experience at the Three Forks KOA. It’s a solid choice if you’re passing through the area or looking for a comfortable base to explore the region. We’d definitely stay here again!
Grizzly RV Park in West Yellowstone was nothing short of spectacular—definitely one of the best, if not the best, RV parks we’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we pulled in, we knew we were in for a treat. The park is beautifully maintained with concrete sites, surrounded by lush grass and trees, giving us a perfect blend of comfort and nature.
The amenities are top-notch, with every “bell and whistle” you could ask for. Whether you’re looking to relax after a long day in Yellowstone or just want to enjoy some downtime at the park, Grizzly RV Park has you covered.
The location is unbeatable. It’s just a stone’s throw from the entrance to Yellowstone National Park, making it incredibly convenient to explore all the natural wonders the area has to offer. Plus, being so close to town meant we had easy access to great restaurants, shops, and everything else West Yellowstone has to offer.
All in all, Grizzly RV Park exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re planning a trip to Yellowstone, this is the place to stay. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back!
